To boost Vietjet Air’s presence in Australia, Ptech used community engagement and influencer partnerships to promote affordable, quality travel. By highlighting new routes and customer satisfaction, Ptech aimed to build brand awareness and trust among Australians, including Indian Australians.

This case study demonstrates Ptech’s strategy of merging cultural insights with targeted campaigns to drive sustainable growth for Vietjet in the Australian market.

02.  The Challenge

Vietjet Air

Vietjet faced several challenges in its endeavor to increase awareness of its brand as an international budget airline with high-quality customer service.

Vietjet aimed to promote its new direct flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Australia, as well as flights between Australia and India.

The company looked to improve brand sentiment and dispel the notorious impression of being a late and low-quality airline.

Finally, boosting sales for the new routes was crucial for Vietjet’s growth strategy.

03. The Solution

Community Engagement:

Ptech utilised local knowledge to engage directly with consumers in 18 community groups, posting real-time promotions to boost interest and visibility. By monitoring social mentions, Ptech helped Vietjet manage sentiment, promptly addressing concerns and highlighting strengths.

Influencer Marketing:

Ptech selected four influencers to experience and promote Vietjet’s new routes. They shared content about their experiences, managed by Ptech, from booking to content quality control and performance tracking.

Social Media Management:

Ptech managed Vietjet’s social media, creating content to promote new routes and strengthen brand image. Consistent branding, optimised posts, and targeted campaigns boosted visibility, engagement, and positive sentiment across channels.

This strategy connected Vietjet with its Australian audience, driving awareness and engagement.
